Toy Camera

The Toy Camera effect is great - thank you for sharing it John! I love the antiqued and mystical look it creates. I used one of the stock photos on our CD of images from class - image bxp41856s.jpg - the Bourbon street sign.

Collages

Spring was on my mind... I created a collage inspired by a gardening catalog. The initial collage was a bit hurried as I was traveling the week the class worked on collages and I had limited time to catch up. The cut and paste was a concept - a starting point.
As I created layers more options became available and when I looked at the first layer created, a bonsai tree, the landscaping began. I am pleased with the finished product and I feel much more comfortable working with layers. I used the art filter, posterize, on the finished piece and printed it on a matt finish paper.
